So what do we all think now we found out that Trump was paying hush-money from his own account to two – perhaps more bunny-girls? Nothing we didn’t already know! (I hear 1 was not paid which doesn’t make things better but we like facts). The American people didn’t vote Jesus for president – the left would have strung him up in his first week for being too honest. The same goes for the amazing Ron Paul and Ben Carson – actually I’m glad they never got voted in as Presidents as they wouldn’t have lasted much longer – these godly, gentle-men’s floor-less characters would have been assassinated and fantastic careers ruined for no good reason in a flash.
So I believe if and when a Christian votes (I never have until the most recent elections as it’s always been two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner as they say), it’s to limit the damage – and ensure as few people as possible suffer for as long as possible before Christ’s return.
ALL have fallen short – there are no ‘clean’ politicians (or people before we get on our high horse)
Show me a politician (apart from Ben, Ron and a tiny handful of others – and hey – perhaps some of us if what Jesus said is anything to go on) that haven’t done far worse than Don and I’ll give you my life’s savings (not very much sorry as I try to make an honest living which seems harder and harder). In any case – Jesus said there should be clear separation between church and state and we see why – an annoying little thing that keeps cropping up called corruption – something we don’t want in the church as far as possible. Government (as we know it) will be abolished in heaven but Jesus made it clear we have to make the best of what we have till then. And Jesus didn’t say this because he wanted to keep Christian values out of the state – but the state infiltrating and meddling in the church.
The devil you know, or the devil you don’t?
The alternative to Trump was a career politician married to a man with so little respect for authority, he saw it as OK not just to play around in what he thought was private (more fool Trump) – but to play around and make a mockery of the most important and powerful and respected room in the world – the Oval Office. My question is; what sort of person would associate with a man like B.C? I’m sorry – it’s unfortunate, but to know what someone is really like – we have to look no further than a person’s friends and who they ‘hang’ with. It’s why I always recommend if possible – that folks on my Christian singles site meet their date with their dates’ ‘friends’ present or at a church. They can tell you more about the person than the person themselves who will think nothing of concealing any inconvenient truths. It’s uman nature (no I’m not a David Icke fan).
But wait – I’m turning into a progressive, and I hate mud-slinging – even when there’s real mud! The real problem is, people have this idea that because Trump’s misdemeanours and thoughts are out in the open (I think rather reassuringly as at least we know who and what we are dealing with) that they and other politicians are somehow more ‘moral’ than him because their skeletons are still firmly and safely still in the closet away from our eyes and ears – and are therefore on the high ground. This is the height of arrogance, folks blind to their own faults.
I think a Christian has a duty to vote – if only as damage limitation, so as few people as possible suffer
Make no mistake – Trump’s dodgy doings are NOTHING compared to the terrible, terrible corruption, philandering, lying and back-hander deals that have been happening at the highest levels in government in the USA – these are things that don’t just affect the perpetrators poor families and friends (as does the Donald’s bad decisions) – but the entire nation’s welfare.
And all the politicians are slick-talking lawyers – of course! They need to be experts in manipulating and flouting the law and the constitution to slip their agendas under the noses of the people and get away with it. No – what was needed with America (and common sense prevailed) was a real businessman with some b**** to stand up to these ‘progressive’ (actually regressive) Godless bullies and get the books and advantage-taking and destruction of America in order (the only nation along side the UK that stands between world freedom and the world tyranny foretold as soon coming in the Bible (and now seen coming in plain sight) – and only because of it’s biblical 10-commandments based founding and definitely not because of the merits and morals of it’s far from perfect leaders).
Trump is clearly a work in progress, but these career politicians are pieces of work. Just watch their body-language and see them close ranks faster than a speeding bullet at these white-wash ‘inquiries’. The fact is they really believe in what they are doing, and blind enough to think ever more centralisation of socialist power under a computerised decision-making ‘god’ to remove human error, but void of wisdom – won’t ultimately come down on their own head once the wrong person is in charge of the whole house of cards.
Of course my opinion only – thank goodness America and Britain still allow you to correct my outrageous and stupid ideas. But don’t hold your breath – once the evil terrible bigoted misogynistic hateful racist Trump’s gone, freedom of speech (to disagree) may also breath it’s last breath.
