Hi all – Edward here – quick note. Sorry about slow progress here – working on many things at once so they all move forward – including book, several Christian websites + been testing the new Christian singles site – which is much closer to being ready to launch officially.
The Forum…
Meanwhile I spent couple days adding a few new features to this site and cleaning up the navigation a bit and added a new forum where people can ask questions regarding using the site, post events or start a general forum on any subject they choose.
New Blog/Article post feature…
Also you can now (finally) add your own blog/articles (just see your profile > Blog > Create – please test it and let me know if there are any problems).
What’s next for 101?…
I’m very aware the site(s) are not nearly as useful as they could or should be – so my next task regarding them – now the basic manageable pieces are in place will be to make this one especially – really useful in terms of helping Christians meet in real life (that’s been my goal since 2000 for 101 – but I’ve been so sidetracked managing the site generally, with tech problems and so on – most of which are now gone thankfully – in fact I started a ‘meetup’ site in 2001 but had to put it to one side as Fusion101 was taking all my time). I also want this site really useful in updating folks on general news (not gossip!) and especially activity going on globally regarding Christianity around the world as things heat up and our faith is tested more and more in the coming years.
